Trainer Instructor II – Clinical Adjunct Nursing (Part Time)

Part‑time clinical adjunct nursing position for the NURSING program at the Fauquier campus. This position may require clinical or laboratory instruction. Schedules may include day, evening, or weekend hours in an off‑campus or on‑campus lab and/or clinical site.

Compensation and Benefits

• Minimum hourly rate: $30.00 per hour; actual starting rate commensurate with education and/or experience.
• Maximum 29 hours per week; not eligible for health or leave benefits.
• Potential educational benefits through the institution’s professional development and educational assistance policies.

Nursing Wage Hourly Rate Schedule (effective July 1, 2024)

• LPN: $30.00
• Associate’s Degree: $40.32
• Bachelor’s Degree: $43.03
• Master’s Degree (includes DDS, MD, DVS, JD, DPT): $45.70
• Doctorate: $48.39

Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned, including assistance to the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's / Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated clinical experience in mother/baby or medical/surgical nursing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Willingness to support the institution, division, and program goals to contribute to the success of the nursing program.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.

Required Travel
Travel as required for duties such as site/campus visits and trainings. Ability to cover assignments throughout the college service region is required.
