Mountain Gateway Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education serving the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Botetourt, Rockbridge and the cities and towns within the region. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our Nursing faculty as Adjunct Instructors.

The Nursing Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to nursing students and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• Deliver high-quality education to nursing students.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with 2 years of experience in nursing practice.
• Applicants must hold an unencumbered, current license to practice in the state of Virginia, and have experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is an additional consideration.
• Experience in teaching a nursing program and curriculum development.

• Required travel to clinical sites.

• Pay: $31.00 to $49.00 an hour (depends upon education and experience).
