Background checks and pre‑employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety‑sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.
UVA Health’s Division of Allergy is seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a growing specialty practice at a premier academic medical center. This is a full‑time position offering a structured, supportive entry into a dynamic clinical environment—with a generous ramp‑up and onboarding period designed to set the incoming APP up for long‑term success.
The APP will split clinical effort between two distinct and high‑demands practice areas: the Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE) Clinic and a general adult allergy clinic. In both settings, the APP will function as an independent, patient‑facing clinician delivering high‑quality specialty care in collaboration with attending allergists and the broader multidisciplinary team. As space utilization efforts continue to evolve, the incumbent APP’s physical practice locations may also adapt to best support broader operational needs.
Upon joining UVA Health, this APP will also become a member of the Center for Advanced Practice (CAP)—UVA Health’s enterprise‑wide community of APPs—providing access to professional development resources, peer support, and organizational leadership dedicated to advancing the APP role.
