Overview

The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. The WOCN should have specialized training and certification, as well as excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical skills. This position aims to improve patient outcomes, enhance comfort, and promote independence for individuals facing complex care challenges.
