We are seeking Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate patient care in the Hampton Roads area.
Responsibilities- Collecting patient data
- Administering medications
- Providing wound care
- Supervising unlicensed staff
- Collecting specimens
- Ensuring medical equipment functionality
- Calling providers
- Coordinating care
- Inserting IVs
- Monitoring intake/output
- Responding to emergencies
- Maintaining narcotics logs
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Handwashing
- Patient positioning
- Transferring
- Range of motion exercises
- Personal hygiene
- Feeding
- Vital sign recording
- Active LPN license
- Minimum 1-year facility experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Recent PPD
- COVID vaccination or weekly testing
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods without restrictions
