Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our Virginia/Maryland offices.
Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.
Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of Virginia and/or Maryland.

Pain Management Nurse Practitioner Duties- Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns.
- Reviewing Patient's Medical History
- Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain.
- Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options.
- Performing joint injections.
- Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.
- Active VA or MD license.
- Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
