LPN; Licensed Practical Nurse Nightshift

Overview

Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center in Amelia, Ohio is hiring an LPN for night shift (7p–7a). The LPN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Competitive wages and a positive culture are offered as we fill the remaining night shifts.

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the resident’s plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants/STNAs
• Monitor residents’ conditions, promptly recognize changes, and notify the physician and appropriate team members
• Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment

• Current, unencumbered Ohio LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license
• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program or college/university
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices, and regulatory requirements related to long-term care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound clinical judgment
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, residents, and families
• Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality resident care
