** How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:
** The RN Velocity Care provides patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborates with the healthcare team, and supports development of individualized care plans in an urgent care setting.
** Practice is open Sunday through Saturday 8 am to 8 pm. Successful candidate must be able to work any day of the week during practice hours of operation.*
* ** All Velocity Care staff are required to float to other Velocity Care locations to assist with staffing.
** The RN Velocity Care
* Delivers high-quality patient care and customer service while demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions.
* Assumes accountability for coordination and delivery of individualized patient care across all age groups.
* Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Completes and documents age-specific assessments to support development of care plans.
* Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
* Administers treatments and medications accurately and documents care in electronic medical records.
* Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs and incorporates them into care plans.
* Participates in performance improvement initiatives and quality outcomes.
* Advocates for patients and supports their rights and psychosocial needs.
* Applies knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
* Utlizes clinical expertise in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
* Implements strategies to improve patient outcomes, throughput, and resource utilization.
* Serves as a role model and supports development of peers, students, and team members.
* Manages resources, prioritizes tasks, and adapts to changing patient care needs.
* Supports orientation and training of new employees.
* Uses problem-solving skills to address patient care and operational challenges.
* Provides feedback to staff and contributes to a collaborative work environment.
* Participates in unit, hospital, and system initiatives to support shared decision-making.

** What We Require:

* Education:

** Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.

* Experience:

** Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required with demonstrated clinical and leadership expertise required.
** Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
** Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. For Behavioral Health roles, de-escalation training must be completed within the required timeframe.
** Life Support:
** AHA BLS-HCP required. ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.

Minimum Qualifications:

** Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation. Ability to manage challenging patient situations as appropriate to role.

** Compensation Range:**$30.47 - $45.71
