Per Diem ICU RN

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry, providing per diem hospital staffing with flexible shifts in Halifax, VA.

• Delivering safe, high-quality acute-care nursing services
• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
• Collaborating with healthcare teams
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
• Educating patients and families about treatment and discharge instructions
• Adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in a hospital setting

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Preferred skills: Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and team collaboration skills. Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling options, including occasional shifts or more regular assignments. Supportive staffing team and mobile scheduling enhance work experience.
