Furthermore, we are equipped to handle necessary Surgical Procedures and provide essential Urgent Care and Emergency services to the Powhatan community and the East-Central Virginia area.

Powhatan Animal Hospital is a 4-doctor, small animal practice looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our fun, fast-paced team! We’re a busy, well-established hospital that values teamwork, compassion, and a positive work environment.
Hospital HoursMonday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
