About

The Role

Landscaping Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all landscaping operations to ensure the creation and maintenance of aesthetically pleasing and healthy outdoor environments. This role involves managing a team of landscaping professionals, scheduling and supervising daily tasks, and ensuring the proper use and maintenance of horticultural equipment. The manager will develop and implement landscaping plans that meet client specifications while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Additionally, the role requires collaboration with clients and vendors to source materials and resolve any landscaping challenges efficiently. Ultimately, the Landscaping Manager ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience in landscaping management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of horticultural equipment and lawn care techniques.
  • Ability to operate and maintain irrigation systems effectively.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between job sites within the United States.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with janitorial field operations and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with advanced irrigation technologies and sustainable landscaping practices.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks requiring full rotation of the head and neck safely.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of landscaping and janitorial field staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of all landscaping projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily landscaping activities including lawn care, trimming, irrigation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage the use and upkeep of horticultural equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines during all landscaping operations.
  • Maintain reliable transportation logistics to support timely arrival and departure from job sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections of landscaping work to ensure high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
