Our client seeks a Quality Specialist to join their rapidly growing team. The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and services meet established quality standards. They conduct inspections, tests, and audits, analyze data, identify defects or areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Collaboration with various departments is essential to maintain and improve quality standards throughout the production process.

Key Results Area

  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products, components, and materials at various production stages to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data from inspections, tests, and audits to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
  • Identify and document defects, non-conformances, or deviations from quality standards.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures by identifying and implementing enhancements.
  • Collaborate with departments such as production, engineering, and customer service to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required for team success.
  • Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in quality management, applied engineering, technology systems, or a related field is preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in quality control or a related role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis and solutions implementation.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
    • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.
    • Experience with statistical process control and data analysis tools.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies.
    • Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality standards.
