Responsible for ensuring that products meet quality specifications through effective inspection and testing processes. Monitor the quality of transformers and their components throughout all phases of manufacturing, complying with internal, customer, and industry standards. Execute timely quality control activities and deliver data‑driven insights to support manufacturing excellence and minimize defects.
Main Accountabilities- Product and process regulatory compliance
- HSE compliance
- Incoming material inspection
- Manufacturing process inspection and testing
- Non‑conformance analysis
- Quality Management System compliance
Support the thorough testing of incoming materials, sub‑assemblies, and final products to ensure they meet predefined specifications and quality standards before proceeding to the next production stage or shipment.
Key Tasks- Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials from internal and external suppliers per the Quality Control Plan
- Perform routine and non‑routine inspections on manufacturing components and sub‑assemblies per the Quality Control Plan.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual tests.
- Conduct routine and non‑routine inspections, including mechanical measurements.
- Identify and document defects or non‑conformances in products, escalating issues as necessary.
- Collect, record, and securely store test data to maintain accurate inspection records.
- Prioritize safety in product testing by following established protocols and best practices.
- Contribute non‑conformance analyses to determine root causes and support corrective actions.
- Record all quality checks.
- Prepare quality documentation, including inspection reports and non‑conformance records.
- Adhere to the Factory Quality Management System (OMS) by implementing established procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring defects and recommending enhancements.
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality management systems (OMS) and industry standards.
- Proficiency in conducting inspections and testing of materials and products.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying defects and conducting root cause analysis.
- Effective communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
