Job Description
Full-time Quality Assurance Engineer Level I with 1-3 years’ experience in a quality assurance testing role to support a mission-focused, rapid solutions and capabilities provider comprised of a diverse team of experts in hardware engineering, software development, systems integration, management, and testing. The Software QA Engineer Level I analyzes, troubleshoots and performs hardware and software testing for military and civil aviation platforms, identifies functional problems, documents and reports test results in a clear and concise method.
Responsibilities- Analyze requirements and write concise test cases that evaluate product functionality
- Troubleshoot and problem solve complex test scenarios
- Execute test cases during test phases
- Record and write complete defect reports found during test execution
- Apply quality assurance principles and practices in a fast paced, agile development environment
- Clearly communicate test results and status both written and verbally
- Follow established QA procedures and processes
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance test role preferred
- Other relevant work experience will be considered
- Must be a problem solver, enthusiastic and curious, self-motivated, able to work independently and on a team
- Knowledge of software installation, testing, hardware configuration preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and detail-oriented approach to tasks and technical issues
- Proven analytical and technical aptitude
- Working knowledge of the software development and testing life cycles preferred
- Ability to work and deliver under deadlines while handling multiple detail-oriented tasks
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related disciplines.
Clearance:
Will need to obtain a Secret clearance level.
Status:
