Responsibilities
- Provide quality assurance for the Distribution Center, including activities pertaining to the annual ISO audit.
- Utilize reports such as End of Line Summary report and TSM error reports to provide the management team with information regarding the verification of accuracy of outbound distribution center orders.
- Participate in the internal audit process for the distribution center.
- Control, organize, and maintain ISO procedures and training logs for the facility.
- Perform TSM classroom training and on-the-job training related to the quality program and standard operating procedures.
- Control, organize, and maintain customer complaint logs.
- Prepare regular and quarterly reports such as the Sarbanes‑Oxley assessment.
- Manage VAWD certification.
- Participate in external audits and inspections.
- Organize and chair meetings such as Management Review and Steering Committee meetings prior to the ISO audit.
- Coordinate the annual ISO audit for the facility.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
- Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to make accurate decisions under set guidelines.
- Good problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments.
- Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).
- Two years of experience in an administrative role or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.
- Lift, carry or move products up to 50 lb.
- Walk on concrete floors continuously.
- Grip, push, pull, and perform fine hand manipulation continuously.
- Occasional twisting or bending of the torso.
- Occasional ladder climbing.
- Handle tools continuously (tape gun, utility knife, computer).
- Work in a continuous temperature‑controlled building; may be exposed to dust and cold environments occasionally.
The posted range for this position is $45,760–$57,200, which is the expected starting base salary range for a new employee becoming fully proficient in the role. Other benefits available include:
