The Mulvaney lab at Children's National Research and Innovation Center in Washington, DC (affiliated with Virginia Tech's Fralin Biomedical Research Institute) is seeking a full-time research coordinator to perform computational analyses and wet bench work on cancer signaling pathways.
Key qualifications:- Demonstrated research experience and familiarity with bioinformatics packages, RNA, and proteomics data
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization in R and coding in Python or similar systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn wet bench molecular biology and cancer research techniques
- Experience with or willingness to learn tissue culture, western blots, or protein purification
