Quick Service Manager

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Quick Service Manager to help bring our high-energy Waterpark dining experience to life. In this role, you’ll support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensure consistent food quality and speed of service, and provide strong, hands‑on leadership for teams delivering grab‑and‑go, quick‑serve, and high-volume food production.

As a QSR Manager, you’ll lead our fast‑paced Waterpark dining outlets—keeping teams fully staffed, well trained, and energized to deliver quick, friendly service and quality food—so our guests can refuel without ever leaving the fun.

This Position Is Slated to Be Filled in Mid-September.

We’re taking our time to find the right fit — a visionary who leads with both creativity and humility. This process will include discovery calls, informal conversations, and in‑person interviews as we approach to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily BOH operations, including prep, service, and closing in a high-volume setting
  • Lead kitchen team in executing standardized recipes and maintaining food quality
  • Ensure fast ticket times, clean work spaces, and food safety compliance
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and controlling food costs and waste
  • Coordinate with FOH and expo for smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members
What We’re Looking For
  • General food and beverage knowledge is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive management experience in a hotel, resort, or quick service setting preferred.
  • Experience with high volume operations of more than $5MM +
  • Prior restaurant or fast‑food experience and staff supervision, overseeing teams of 25 or more associates, is required.
  • General knowledge and understanding of P&L statements.
  • Prior experience managing inventory, food cost, and labor cost required.
  • At least 2 years of directly related experience in high-volume food & beverage operations, such as an arena or stadium, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to remain fluid during high occupancy times and in high stress situations.
  • Schedule availability must be flexible; this may include overnight.
  • Beneficial if bilingual in English and Spanish.
