Retail Scan Associate (Clifton Forge, VA 24422)

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Collect quantity data for about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning for the entire store each week.
• Complete Custom Projects and additional work requested by clients, usually 1–2 hours per week per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain high quality, independent work.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods and navigate products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Capable of performing repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail, self‑starter, deadline driven.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi access and tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
