Retail Store Manager

Position Overview

Join the Burlington Stores team as a Store Manager and lead a multi‑million‑dollar store operation. You'll mentor, coach, and partner with associates across the organization to deliver an excellent customer experience while maximizing sales results. You will execute day‑to‑day merchandising, operations, and service tasks, setting the high standard for store performance.

Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates, ensuring company policies and standards are met. Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, pricing, receiving, transfers, and return documentation with assistant store managers. Serve as Manager on Duty, leading by example, implementing SOPs, and managing the sales volume and expense budget. Handle recruitment, screening, hiring, onboarding, and training of staff; provide ongoing coaching and development.

Manage personnel relations, payroll budget, scheduling, and workforce planning. Facilitate communication among the store team, district and regional leadership, and partners across the organization.

• 5+ years of retail management experience in a big‑box or specialty environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift and move boxes up to 40lb.
• Experience with scheduling and reporting software
• Willingness to travel as required
