The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise and for maintaining a positive shopping experience for all customers.

• Provide friendly, professional customer service; greet and thank customers by name.
• Maintain clear checkout lines and assist customers with product knowledge and store layout.
• Perform register operations, ensuring proper transaction procedures and balancing drawer.
• Assist with pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging merchandise.
• Keep the front end, checkout areas, and entrance doors neat and clean; face and dust front end.
• Stock impulse counters, rotate fresh merchandise, and ensure ads are stocked in shopping carts.
• Maintain supplies, decorate front end per the Store Support Center program, and call for cart pickups when necessary.
• Report merchandise returns to management and perform any other tasks assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and climb.

$10–$12 per hour.
