The National Glass Association (NGA) is the premier trade association representing the architectural glass and metal industry. We serve manufacturers, fabricators, glazing contractors, distributors, and industry suppliers through advocacy, education, technical resources, magazine publications, conferences, and our flagship trade show, Glass Build America.

Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive is a strategic revenue driver responsible for generating non-dues revenue across the National Glass Association's diverse portfolio of products and services. This high-impact role combines consultative sales expertise with relationship management to maximize revenue opportunities from exhibit sales, sponsor ships, print and digital advertising, and other revenue-generating initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proven B2B sales professional who excels at building long-term partnerships, understands the trade show and association landscape, and thrives in a relationship-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Advertising Sales – Glass Magazine and Window + Door
  • Sell advertising space in the print magazines and digital platforms for NGA’s premiere publications, Glass Magazine and Window + Door, in addition to the Glass Build show catalog and digital newsletters
  • Develop media kits and rate cards; present advertising opportunities to current and prospective clients
  • Manage advertising renewals and upsells across multiple publication cycles
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for revenue growth across NGA’s publications
Sponsorship Sales – Glass Build America and NGA Conferences
  • Identify, cultivate, and close sponsorship opportunities for Glass Build America, including premier event sponsor ships, educational session sponsor ships, networking events, and digital/on-site branding opportunities
  • Develop and sell sponsorship packages for NGA conference events, including the BEC Conference and NGA Glass Fabricator Conference (GFAB), in addition to NGA webinars, educational programs, and regional activities
  • Create customized sponsorship proposals that align sponsor objectives with NGA marketing and engagement platforms
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and events teams to develop compelling sponsorship assets and activation opportunities
Exhibit Sales – Glass Build America
  • Manage a portfolio of existing exhibitor accounts while aggressively prospecting and closing new exhibitors for Glass Build America, the premier trade show for the glass and glazing industry
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual exhibit space revenue targets
  • Conduct needs assessments with exhibitors to recommend optimal booth sizes, locations, and show participation strategies
  • Maintain expert knowledge of show floor layouts, exhibitor benefits, and competitive positioning
  • Maximize exhibitor retention through proactive relationship management and post-show follow-up
Additional Non-Dues Revenue Initiatives
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams aligned with NGA's mission and member value proposition
  • Collaborate with program and marketing teams to package and monetize existing NGA resources and content
  • Explore opportunities for industry research, certification programs, lead generation products, and other value-added services
Strategic Account Management
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with key industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers
  • Understand client business objectives and position NGA products as solutions to their marketing and business development needs
  • Conduct regular check-ins with top accounts to ensure satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and gather feedback
  • Represent NGA at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand presence and generate leads
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system; track all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics for leadership review
  • Collaborate with contracts, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and fulfillment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and best practices
