Sales Engineer, Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect visits to achieve agreed business targets while effectively managing time and productivity.
- Grow service revenue through the development and penetration of the installed base within the assigned territory.
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities for assigned service products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels, ensuring a consistent, high standard of aftermarket service.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their operational needs and offering tailored service solutions.
- Cooperate closely with the Service Aftermarket team to ensure excellent after‑sales support and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage quotations from issuance through to closure, ensuring timely follow‑up with customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in service sales, aftermarket sales, or technical sales, preferably in an industrial or engineering environment.
- Proficient with CRM systems and standard office software.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Mid‑Atlantic territory.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
