Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member

Part Time in Ruther Glen, VA. This role pays $14.00 – $18.00 per hour, offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

About Our Agency

Our agency was opened in 2011 by a former team member who spent four years learning the business. Today the office consists of a close‑knit team of six. With a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Virginia University and several professional designations and licenses, the agency is committed to community service. We sponsor two annual $1,000 scholarships for local high school students and support organizations such as the Caroline Little League, Caroline Public Schools, the Caroline Sheriff’s Office, and Caroline Social Services.

Role Description

As an Account Manager – State Farm Agent Team Member, you will be vital to daily business operations and customer success. You will grow the agency through meaningful customer relations, act as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments, and proactively market relevant products and services. You will contribute to a community‑focused mission and grow your career while improving lives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Use knowledge of insurance products to recommend, explain, and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
Qualifications
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
