Territory Manager, MEP
Location:
Richmond, VA (Field‑Based)
We are seeking a Territory Manager to manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) accounts, drive sales, build lasting relationships, and achieve performance goals within a dynamic territory.
Responsibilities- Manage assigned MEP accounts and oversee daily field activities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision makers at distributors, customers, and end users.
- Drive top‑line sales through strategic initiatives, sell‑in opportunities, and effective lead generation.
- Achieve sales targets for Power Tools, Hand Tools, Accessories, and support products across regional chains.
- Execute go‑to‑market strategies, product service promotions, and marketing programs.
- Conduct distributor and end‑user product training and facilitate “work‑with” sessions.
- Communicate opportunities, trends, and issues to management and marketing teams.
- Manage travel, T&E, and MAP budgets as well as field schedules.
- Utilize to document work plans, visit logs, and maintain accurate customer data.
- Analyze data from Power BI and Salesforce to develop strategic growth plans and improve financial performance.
- 1‑3 years of sales experience in product, commercial, or industrial sales or a related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and accommodate overnight stays.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Power BI and Salesforce to inform growth strategies.
- Strong product and market knowledge to drive sales and capture market share.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding measurable performance goals.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in promotional events and creative problem solving.
- Proficient with , Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR, drug, and criminal background checks.
