Overview and ResponsibilitiesJob Title: Account Executive – Wound Care & Negative Pressure Therapy Sales
We are seeking experienced Account Executives with a background in wound care or NPWT. The role involves building relationships with physicians, wound clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies to deliver solutions that support healing in the home setting.
Compensation:
Entry‑level candidates receive a base salary of $50k/year plus uncapped commission; experienced candidates can earn up to $62k/year base plus uncapped commission.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and satisfaction.
- Conduct face‑to‑face sales calls with healthcare providers and referral sources.
- Educate clients on product benefits, patient outcomes, and service capabilities.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic territory management.
- Promote Rotech’s wound care and NPWT solutions, along with respiratory equipment and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Uncapped commission with high earning potential.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Experience in respiratory or medical sales preferred.
- Leadership experience in other areas or fields.
- Proven sales performer – 2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales; new college graduates welcome.
- Independent & resourceful; thrive on autonomy and accountability.
- Excellent communicator; simplify complex topics and build trust.
- Willingness to travel; position requires in‑person visits throughout assigned rural territory.
- CRM experience – familiarity with sales platforms is a plus.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare partners across a defined territory.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English—both written and verbal—with physicians, patients, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a helpful, knowledgeable, and positive attitude.
- Interpret and respond to a variety of communication formats and instructions.
- Apply knowledge of DME or HME.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Stay organized, self‑motivated, and solution‑oriented.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
