HPE Networking SLED Account Manager
Responsibilities- Responsible for creating and driving the sales pipeline within SLED.
- Has a keen understanding of SLED funding cycles, acquisition authorities, and policies.
- Captures leads outside of specialization and uses closed‑loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow‑up.
- Builds and maintains long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and C‑level personas.
- Maintains knowledge of competitors to strategically position the company’s products and services.
- Uses specialty expertise to seek new opportunities and expand existing ones to grow the pipeline and drive pursuit.
- Establishes professional, consultative relationships with clients and leverages external partners to deliver sales.
- Directs or coordinates supporting sales activities.
- 8+ years of advanced sales experience.
- 5+ years of technology experience.
- 3+ years of networking experience.
- Demonstrated achievement of success with progressively higher quotas and diverse business customers.
- SLED experience strongly preferred.
- US citizen located in DC or Virginia.
- Understanding of solution‑ and outcome‑based selling.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to sell high‑value software solutions and services.
- Excellent account planning and revenue forecasting.
- Ability to lead and advise functional project teams and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and accurate business forecasting.
- Deep knowledge of industry trends, IT budgets, objectives and metrics.
- Skilled in selling services and leveraging the company’s portfolio for competitive advantage.
US citizenship and location in the DC or Virginia area are required.
