Regional Vice-President - Sales & Marketing Remote in the Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland Area Position Summary

FCE Benefit Administrators, Inc., is a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) specializing in fringe benefit solutions for government contractors. The Regional Vice President (VP) of Sales & Marketing is a senior, remote-hybrid role responsible for driving revenue, overseeing marketing, and managing strategic business development within an assigned geographic territory.

The job expectations for this role at FCE include the following core components:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition & Broker Relations: Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities, primarily targeting the government contracting sector and working closely with the brokerage community.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Consult with prospective and new clients regarding complex legal compliance issues, primarily the Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA), and other prevailing wage/fringe benefit laws.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and drive a targeted go-to-market strategy for the region to hit specific enrollment and revenue targets.
  • Client Retention: Strategize for annual benefit renewals, identify gaps in coverage, and maintain robust, long-lasting relationships with both clients and insurance carriers.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Industry

    Experience:

    5-7+ years of prior, successful experience in benefits administration, insurance brokerage, or the health insurance industry.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of employee benefits and the regulatory landscape governing them (e.g., SCA, DBRA, ERISA, and PPACA).
  • Licensing: A current Life and Accident/Health License is generally required.
  • Skills: Exceptional consultative selling skills, networking ability, and the capacity to explain complex benefit solutions to corporate buyers and HR teams.
  • Travel: Ability to travel regularly (often 30-50%) to visit client sites, attend conferences, and facilitate finalist presentation.

FCE utilizes a distributed sales model, assigning Regional VPs to specific major markets (such as the Mid-Atlantic and Western Regions).
