Associate Sales Director – Emerging Markets
Profile SummaryThe Associate Sales Director will successfully direct sales activities in a defined geographic area, selling and wholesaling corporate retirement and tax‑exempt opportunities from startup plans to $50million in assets (excluding government and K-12 marketplace) for Voya’s Emerging Markets division.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain sales programs for developing regional territory.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with key advisors, brokers, consultants, and third‑party administrators while cultivating new business relationships.
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans with innovative and creative ideas to increase sales.
- Identify and understand the needs of key decision makers and direct efforts to provide product enhancements and service.
- Deliver presentations to prospects, financial professionals, and industry leaders.
- Manage, develop, and motivate a wide variety of retirement plan distribution sources.
- Leverage technology to implement and track sales and marketing plans.
- Partner with other Voya representatives to enhance awareness of the full suite of Voya capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of internal or external sales experience with the retirement plan/investment industry, with a proven track record of sales success.
- FINRA Series6 and 63 licenses.
- Proficient in life and health insurance regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and influence others.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Base Salary: $67,980 – $84,980 USD per year. Incentive opportunities include annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long‑term incentives.
