Overview
FCE Benefit Administrators, Inc., is a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) specializing in fringe benefit solutions for government contractors. The Regional Vice President (VP) of Sales & Marketing is a senior, remote-hybrid role responsible for driving revenue, overseeing marketing, and managing strategic business development within an assigned geographic territory (VA, WA, MD area).
Primary Responsibilities- Client Acquisition & Broker Relations: Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities, primarily targeting the government contracting sector and working closely with the brokerage community.
- Regulatory Expertise: Consult with prospective and new clients regarding complex legal compliance issues, primarily the Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA), and other prevailing wage/fringe benefit laws.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and drive a targeted go-to-market strategy for the region to hit specific enrollment and revenue targets.
- Client Retention: Strategize for annual benefit renewals, identify gaps in coverage, and maintain robust, long-lasting relationships with both clients and insurance carriers.
- Industry
Experience:
5–7+ years of prior, successful experience in benefits administration, insurance brokerage, or the health insurance industry. - Compliance Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of employee benefits and the regulatory landscape governing them (e.g., SCA, DBRA, ERISA, and PPACA).
- Licensing: A current Life and Accident/Health License is generally required.
- Skills: Exceptional consultative selling skills, networking ability, and the capacity to explain complex benefit solutions to corporate buyers and HR teams.
- Travel: Ability to travel regularly (often 30–50%) to visit client sites, attend conferences, and facilitate finalist presentations.
FCE utilizes a distributed sales model, assigning Regional VPs to specific major markets (such as the Mid-Atlantic and Western Regions).
