As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for improving the productivity of the assigned group of sales colleagues. You will implement, coordinate, and present the new hire training and development program, provide mentoring and coaching, and formal facilitation to new and existing sales colleagues.

- Hire, onboard, train, manage & engage a team of frontline sales colleagues in the designated area.
- Support collaboration between Sales and Operations within territory, aligning goals and driving performance.
- Lead weekly meetings with the team to monitor performance and focus on skill development, improving performance, and prioritized topics as needed.
- Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory when needed.
- Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly one‑on‑one debriefs with the team to build more effective communication and understand training and development needs.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds all activity standards for field sales colleague performance (e.g., number of inspections per week) and other KPIs to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Set a strong example for the team in areas of personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills, and work habits.
- Monitor progress against revenue objectives; jointly accountable with Operations for APITDA realization.
- Monitor sales start rates through the key relationship with operational leadership.
- Serve as steward of the Rentokil Terminix business model to ensure company programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence at the branch level.
- Monitors, coaches, and develops the team to provide effective growth and development plans; organize and order any job‑related items for new hires.
- Work with new hires to evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in the field and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate to leadership any team training needs for continuous improvement.
- Increase unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching, and enforcing company sales practices.
- Work in the field with sales colleagues daily and maintain minimum sales activity requirements.
- Ensure creative and methodically sound sales programs, proper use of sales materials, and inventory control.
- Set an excellent management example and a quality image.
- Travel: up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data.
- Ability to acquire licenses or certificates required by federal, state, or local agencies.
