Position description: As a Mechanical Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue through strategic selling, building relationships with potential clients and managing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure. This role requires a thorough understanding of the commercial construction industry, specifically mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

You will work closely with multi-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of special projects, design build renovations and the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify and target new business opportunities
  • Cultivate & maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, meeting those needs effectively.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our different Divisions (MEP Divisions) and each of their competitive advantages.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop sales strategies that align with overall company goals.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives.
    • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our products/services to potential clients.
    • Address client inquiries, provide product information, and offer tailored solutions to address their specific needs.
  • Maintain CRM System
  • Proposal and Negotiation:
    • Prepare and present detailed proposals that outline scope, pricing, timelines, and benefits.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients.
    • Diagnose, estimate and close.
