The Role
This is a field-first, relationship-driven sales leadership role. We are looking for someone who wakes up every day focused on bringing new Clients to the Naborhood.
You will own the Virginia referral pipeline from end to end, discovering and cultivating the partnerships that bring new Clients into the Naborforce family. You’ll collaborate closely with our Naborforce Success Team and Nabor Community Engagement Associates to turn warm relationships into lasting client connections.
You’re not a typical sales rep. You’re a community architect. You’ll become the trusted face of Naborforce across Virginia, building relationships that result in new Clients at senior living communities, healthcare networks, faith communities, senior centers, and everywhere that older adults and their families turn for support.
What You’ll OwnRevenue Growth
- Increase Virginia service hours, develop a profitable referral source pipeline, and gain market share through new Client acquisition
- Identify opportunities to interact directly with potential new Clients and their families with the goal of signing up new Clients
- Monitor and improve the quality of Leads through improved messaging and by targeting referral sources and in-person sales opportunities to those most likely to yield Clients with recurring visit needs
- Work alongside the Naborforce Success Team (NST) to convert referrals into active Clients
- Work with Nabor Community Engagement Associates to obtain high quality leads
- Champion the fans-not-customers mentality — every Client should feel the Naborforce difference from day one
- Own and grow the Virginia referral pipeline with the goal of Client growth and retention
- Identify and cultivate referral sources: senior living communities, home health agencies, hospital discharge planners, elder law attorneys, financial advisors, faith organizations, and more who interact with potential Clients and their families and caregivers
- Set and attend meetings with community partners, influencers, and decision-makers across the state with the goal of having partners refer to Naborforce
- Attend conferences, community events, and industry gatherings to build brand presence and trust
- Build and manage prospect lists from events, industry databases, and your own network
- Recruit and focus a team of Nabor Community Engagement Associates to attend lead-generating meetings and events including senior living family nights, educational events, holiday celebrations, and other similar activities
- Own your monthly goals: outreach calls, partner meetings, leads, client sign-ups and total billed hours
- Create and execute outreach campaigns aligned to the marketing calendar and community events
- Canvass your territory strategically
- Fully leverage the CRM: document everything, trust your data
- Bring data-driven insights back to the team to sharpen our Virginia go-to-market approach
- Leverage Nabor Community Engagement Associates to cover events across the state
- Serve as the face and culture carrier of Naborforce across Virginia

- Build relationships that make Naborforce the first name people think of when an older adult needs support
- 5+ years in sales, business development, or partnership roles in healthcare or aging services (hospice, home care, home health, senior living, therapy)
- Proven track record of building referral pipelines and cultivating partner relationships
- CRM mastery: you document everything and trust your data
- Comfortable with cold outreach: you thrive on building awareness in a white space
- Virginia-based and ready to travel throughout the state regularly
- Genuine passion for serving older adults and their families
- Team player who thrives in an early-stage, fast-moving startup environment
- Problem-solver with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — you can tell a compelling story in a room full of strangers
- Strong PowerPoint skills — you can build a crisp, on-brand deck that opens doors
