Position Summary
Arch Systems, LLC is seeking a highly accomplished and well-connected Executive Vice President of Department of Homeland Security Business Development to lead revenue growth across DHS headquarters and its component agencies.
This is a hands-on business development and sales leadership position responsible for identifying new customers, creating opportunities, building a qualified pipeline, developing strategic partnerships, and converting relationships into contract awards and revenue. The Executive Vice President will be expected to use existing relationships across DHS and the government contracting industry while continuously building new relationships with customers, decision-makers, acquisition officials, program leaders, technology partners, and potential teaming partners.
The successful candidate must be a recognized and proven player in the DHS market with a demonstrated record of generating new business, opening doors, shaping opportunities, and winning federal contracts. This individual will serve as Arch's senior growth executive for DHS and will be directly accountable for bookings, revenue, pipeline development, and market expansion.
This position is designed for a growth leader who is comfortable being in front of customers, developing relationships, pursuing opportunities, creating demand, and personally driving business from initial customer engagement through contract award.
Primary Responsibilities Revenue Generation and Business Development- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that produces measurable revenue growth across DHS.
- Meet or exceed annual pipeline, bookings, contract award, and revenue targets established by Arch's executive leadership.
- Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities across DHS headquarters and component agencies.
- Create opportunities through direct customer engagement rather than relying solely on publicly announced solicitations.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of near-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunities that supports Arch's growth objectives.
- Maintain personal ownership of strategic opportunities from initial customer contact through qualification, capture, proposal submission, negotiation, and award.
- Convert customer relationships, market intelligence, and industry partnerships into actionable opportunities and revenue.
- Develop account growth strategies for priority DHS customers and establish measurable objectives for each account.
- Regularly report pipeline health, customer engagement activity, opportunity status, probability of award, projected revenue, and required investments to Arch leadership.
- Maintain accurate and current opportunity information within the company's customer relationship management system.
- Leverage established relationships across DHS to create access to decision-makers, program leaders, contracting officials, acquisition professionals, technical executives, and mission stakeholders.
- Build new relationships across DHS headquarters and component agencies where Arch does not currently have an established presence.
- Establish Arch as a trusted and credible partner that understands DHS missions, operational challenges, acquisition priorities, and technology needs.
- Conduct frequent customer meetings, capability briefings, solution discussions, demonstrations, and executive-level engagements.
- Develop relationships well before procurement actions are released to understand customer challenges and help shape future requirements.
- Maintain a consistent customer engagement schedule across priority DHS accounts.
- Identify customer needs that align with Arch's capabilities and translate those needs into potential contract opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships within DHS components, including USCIS, CBP, ICE, FEMA, TSA, CISA, the U.S. Coast Guard, the DHS Science and Technology Directorate, and other relevant offices.
- Expand Arch's presence within existing DHS customers while opening new accounts and developing new buying relationships.
- Build relationships that extend beyond individual procurements and support long-term account growth.
- Maintain and expand a strong network of relationships across the federal contracting industry.
- Develop strategic relationships with large systems integrators, mid-tier contractors, small businesses, technology companies, original equipment manufacturers, and specialized solution providers.
- Proactively identify teaming partners that provide customer access, contract vehicles, technical capabilities, past performance, personnel, or other competitive advantages.
- Build new partner relationships that expand Arch's reach into priority DHS accounts and opportunities.
- Position Arch as a preferred prime contractor, subcontractor, mentor-protégé partner, joint venture participant, and strategic teaming partner.
