For over 50 years, Kemper Carpet & Flooring has been one of Northern Virginia's most trusted flooring companies. We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Flooring Sales Consultant to join our growing team.

We're not looking for someone to simply sell flooring—we're looking for someone who wants to build lasting customer relationships and become a trusted flooring expert.

• Meet with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors.
• Guide customers through selecting carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, area rugs, and stair runners.
• Prepare estimates and proposals.
• Follow projects from initial consultation through installation.
• Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Work closely with our project management and installation teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain product knowledge on the latest flooring styles, trends, and installation methods.
• Visit the customer homes and measure and scale draw floor plans for pricing

• Enjoys working with people and building relationships.
• Has outstanding communication and listening skills.
• Is self-motivated and goal oriented.
• Has strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Has an eye for color, design, and detail.
• Flooring or home improvement sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Interior design experience is a plus.
• Is comfortable learning technology, estimating software, and CRM systems.
• Maintains a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
