Job Description
We are looking for a confident, self-motivated Sales Support Representative to join our team, keep our showroom running smoothly, and support our outside sales representatives. In this role, you will blend professional customer service on our showroom floor with essential administrative coordination behind the scenes to keep our team organized and moving forward.
Schedule
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Core Responsibilities
- Showroom Floor Assistance: Greet and assist walk-in customers, handle initial inquiries, and connect them with a salesperson or designer as needed.
- Sales Team Clerical Coordination: Manage and execute administrative, clerical, and paperwork needs to help our sales team maximize their productivity.
- Sales Team Support: Check in regularly with salespeople to stay on top of their pending tasks and accurately complete their quotes and assist with pipelines.
- Customer & Vendor Communication: Manage incoming phone lines and make proactive outbound calls to customers and manufacturers to follow up on orders.
- Showroom & Office Presentation: Maintain a clean, professional, and well-organized appearance for both the showroom and the office.
- Tech & Systems: Utilize internal ERP and quoting software.
- Inventory Control: Track showroom stock levels and organize merchandise displays as needed.
- Team Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and the evolving needs of the business.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Personal Traits: Highly confident, self-motivated, and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.
- Interpersonal
Skills:
Comfortable in a front-facing customer role with the ability to work with and assist diverse personalities. - Communication: Clear verbal and written skills, as well as being comfortable making professional phone calls.
- Tech
Skills:
Proficient with MS Office Suite and comfortable learning internal ERP and quoting software. - Execution: Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical & Logistics: Reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Experience Pluses: A background in restaurants, hospitality, or commercial kitchen environments is an asset for this role.
