Hematology Key Account Manager (KAM)
How you will contribute:
- Achieve/exceed sales targets and MBO goals via disciplined territory/account strategy.
- Build and execute territory and strategic account plans (stakeholder mapping, prioritization, tactical execution).
- Serve as primary Hematology account manager; strategic intermediary with institutional and non-acute customers.
- Drive formulary/protocol/pathway access by engaging clinical, pharmacy, medical policy, operations, and financial stakeholders.
- Provide strategic selling in complex, multistakeholder environments.
- Maintain account knowledge (reimbursement, inventory, procurement, access barriers).
- Lead QBRs with HTCs, IDNs, and other health systems; integrate clinical, access, financial, operational, and outcomes insights.
- Analyze data to guide sales strategy and optimize resource use across sites of care.
- Build disease state and product expertise in bleeding/clotting disorders.
- Develop KOL/influencer relationships to advance protocols/standards of care.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure aligned customer engagement within compliance guidelines.
- Share insights/best practices with matrix teams and leadership.
- Own U.S. Hematology portfolio performance and access in assigned geography/accounts.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals (or equivalent pharma/biotech/device/specialty healthcare experience).
- Account/territory ownership in healthcare; strong understanding of hematology/hospital/IDN landscape.
- Experience executing product launches in specialty/institutional/complex environments.
- Experience developing business/account plans aligned to corporate objectives.
- Knowledge of payer access/reimbursement/managed care dynamics.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.
- Acute demand generation (institutional).
- Buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy collaboration.
- MBA/MS/PharmD (or similar).
- Experience influencing C/D-suite and senior clinical leaders.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Mandatory product training with exams.
- Travel: drive/fly; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.
