Unit Support Coordinator (USC)

Location:

WPS Protection/Guard Worldwide, Virginia.

• Conduct protective service operations under the direction of DS/RSO.
• Organize, manage, supervise, and schedule assigned personnel to meet the protective security requirements of the contract and TO.
• Ensure all assigned personnel are properly trained, equipped, briefed, and mentally and physically prepared each time they are dispatched on protective services assignments.
• Develop and implement plans for route surveys, alternative routes, safe havens, contingency operations, facility perimeter security, foot patrol coordination, and evacuation.
• Coordinate with and receive concurrence of DS/RSO on team staffing issues.
• Evaluate assigned personnel to ensure all positions/labor categories are filled with qualified personnel and identify personnel for promotion into leadership positions/labor categories, with concurrence of DS/RSO.

• U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in protective security assignments.
• Minimum of two (2) years in a protective security supervisory or in-charge capacity.
• Remaining five (5) years of experience must be in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed protective services that require skills similar to those identified in the PSS training course as outlined in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 2, Training. Experience must be earned in locations with significant risk.
• Minimum of twelve (12) additional months of protective security experience on WPS III and/or any of its predecessor contracts or other DS-related security program.
• Minimum of three (3) months of this experience must have been as a shift leader on WPS III and/or any of its predecessor contracts or other DS-related security program.
• Attend and successfully complete a supervisory course meeting the requirements established in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 1, Position Descriptions, Section 1.2.C.
