Senior Research Analyst (SRA) (S) TBD — Contingent Upon Request — WPS Admin Worldwide, Virginia
Added 09/30/24. Position is contingent upon request. Location is Worldwide, with assignment in Virginia.
Responsibilities- Analyze all-source intelligence addressing a broad range of issues, focusing on insurgent capabilities and actions, political and cultural climates, tribal and social networks, and other issues as required.
- Monitor and analyze threat intelligence, reviewing information for credibility, urgency, and specific target information.
- Produce concise written and oral intelligence reports for use by embassy management and DS personnel.
- Prepare daily written and oral intelligence summary reports for applicable personal protection, guard force, and emergency response team services.
- Prepare assessments and spot reports.
- Brief DS personnel on security matters pertaining to the operating environment on a daily or weekly basis.
- Notify and communicate urgent threat information to the appropriate DS personnel.
- Perform liaison work with U.S. officials and military units on site, and with DS counterparts daily.
- Maintain a situational map of incidents and a database of known threats, events, and indications of enemy intent.
- Develop and use an indication and warning matrix to illustrate possible enemy intent and prepare reports that support these conclusions.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Minimum of three (3) years of all-source intelligence analytical experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year overseas experience performing as an intelligence analyst.
- Completion of formal military intelligence training course or equivalent training through classified online courses and work experience demonstrating the use and function of the U.S. Intelligence Cycle.
- Attendance and successful completion of a supervisory course meeting the requirements established in WPS III IDIQ,
Attachment 1, Position Descriptions, Section 1.2.C. - Attendance and successful completion of the NPSS training course, as outlined in WPS III IDIQ,
Attachment 2, Training
. - Obtain and maintain a Personnel Security Clearance, up to TS/SCI, as identified in the TO.
- Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable TO.
