Facility Supervisor; McReynolds Athletic Complex

Overview

Coordinates and manages the daily operations of the McReynolds Athletic Complex. Opens and closes park gates and facilities. Enforces park regulations and policies and provides program and event assistance to patrons. Answers questions, guides participants to park locations, resolves patron concerns, and supports management and operations of athletic fields, picnic shelters, parking lots, restrooms, playgrounds, bike paths, and walking trails. Monitors park for violations, oversees security, responds to emergencies, and maintains cleanliness and safety of park facilities.

• Open and close park gates and facilities; enforce park regulations and policies.
• Provide program and event assistance to patrons; answer questions and guide participants.
• Assist with management and operations of athletic fields, picnic shelters, parking lots, restrooms, playgrounds, bike paths and walking trails.
• Monitor and inspect the park to ensure compliance with rules; oversee building and field security and respond to park emergencies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the park and facilities; collect litter, empty trash cans, clean restrooms, and inspect for safety violations.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent with some work experience involving public contact.
• Working knowledge of operating a park or similar facility desired.
• Disciplined, reliable, self-motivated, and excellent customer service skills.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass an acceptable criminal background check.

Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings and weekends. This job is contingent upon satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks (criminal history and background checks).

Regular, and at times sustained, performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking/running on uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, kneeling, leaping, standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying of moderate to heavy items on a consistent basis.
