Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems for both commercial and residential properties in Henrico, VA. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with fire alarm systems and a passion for ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems, ensuring they are in proper working order.
• Perform system diagnostics, system upgrades, and programming of fire alarm devices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while explaining system operations to clients.
• Work effectively with other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Complete all required documentation and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stay current on the latest industry standards, codes, and technology advancements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, their components, and related codes (NFPA, UL).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• NICET certification (Level I or II) is a plus, but not required.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
