Minimum Qualifications- Must be capable to understand and operate all cemetery equipment including gasoline and diesel engines and other mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronically controlled systems.
- Must have the ability to diagnose and complete all necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Must be skilled in facilities maintenance and irrigation repair.
- Must be able to effectively communicate within all levels of DVS Cemeteries.
- Must be task-oriented and have the ability to train other employees on equipment, tools, and irrigation systems.
- Required to maintain a neat and presentable appearance while working during extreme weather conditions.
- Must perform tasks with minimal to no supervision.
High school education/GED, automotive and equipment maintenance experience. Must be qualified to train employees to maintain and operate equipment and irrigation systems. The position requires a Valid Virginia driver's license.
