Laborer; Manassas, VA

Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer for our project located in Manassas, Va.

The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast‑paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and work within tight deadlines.

• Loading/unloading of deliveries
• Handling/moving jobsite materials
• Cleaning/preparing work spaces
• Digging
• Assisting the safety professional
• Assisting carpenters
• Various jobsite operations

• 1 year of construction experience
• Understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and remain flexible under tight deadlines
• Agile/mobile, alert, able to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects; climb ladders, scaffolds, and other objects; work on uneven surfaces or heights
• Read/write, and see & hear well either naturally or with correction
• Lift and carry materials weighing 50‑100 lbs. 75% of the time
• Work in an OSHA‑compliant safety environment, outside, and be able to work overtime and weekend hours
• Punctuality and promptness required every day
