The Job

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our Service Technicians are responsible for installation and servicing of our advanced equipment throughout the food service industry. As a Service Technician, you will install core products for new customers, assist with training, troubleshoot, and maintain existing customers through service, repair, and routine maintenance.

Primary Job Accountabilities
  • Install and maintain products safely, timely, and accurately.
  • Meet and control operational goals and timelines – service labor per hour, first time right, 5S standards.
  • Comply with internal processes and all local, federal, DOT, OSHA, and HACCP requirements.
  • Maintain proper parts and supply levels in service vehicles and keep proper paperwork.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
  • Serve customers efficiently and professionally, including training and coaching on the system.
  • Utilize iPhone apps for parts, customer notes, and clock‑in/out.
  • Possibly perform night installation work; schedule varies by customer demand.
Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 4x10s
7am to 5pm

$28 an hour plus great benefits and quarterly bonus potential.

Requirements

Education, Requirements & Competencies

  • 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Teamwork ability.
  • Problem‑solving skills for install and service customer issues.
  • Basic mechanical and/or electrical task capability.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to respond positively to challenging situations.
  • Meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Carry 50 pounds by hand.
  • Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach out.
  • Climb a ladder up to 20 feet.
Preferred Experience
  • Vocational training.
