The Carpenter Foreman

I provides direction and supervision to assigned crew and determines when to delegate or actually perform the work. Fully competent in all facets of construction, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures of steel, wood, or plywood using carpenter’s hand and power tools conforming to construction documents. May function as backup to supervision on site.

• Provides direction to assigned crew
• Installs footing forms
• Builds and installs wall and column forms
• Builds and installs structural deck forms
• Sets slab‑on‑grade forms
• Preps and sets tilt‑up/precast forms
• Works with building layout
• Ensures a safe work environment
• Participates in training / certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training, including reading and interpreting construction documents.
