Job Overview

R.B. Hinkle Construction, a Primoris Services Corporation company, is seeking General Laborers to assist skilled tradespeople and ensure efficient project completion on construction sites.

• Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, clearing debris, and loading/unloading materials.
• Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision, including shovels, rakes, jackhammers, and compactors.
• Assist with the setup and teardown of construction sites, including erecting temporary structures and placing safety barriers.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and organization.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support skilled trades (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
• Transport materials to and from work areas using wheelbarrows, carts, or other methods.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, and kneeling.
• Reliable transportation to and from various job sites.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions diligently.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in a construction environment is a plus, but not required.
