Job Description
Our client supports all major carriers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Currently they are seeking a wireless field engineer to support carriers as they all migrate to 5G framework. This role will require local travel around the Richmond market. All expenses will be paid by the client for travel, and lodging if needed. The engineer will also be provided a company vehicle.
TopSkills
- 3-5 Years of Experience Performing RF Testing and Troubleshooting
- Experience mounting RF equipment not limited to Antennas, Remote Radio Heads, etc.
- Experience performing PIM/Sweep Testing, and working with OTDR/Spectrum Analyzers
This individual will be supporting wireless small cell deployments in Richmond VA for the major carriers. They will be working in teams of 2-3 and each Tech IV will have their own personal helper. They will be responsible for the mounting/testing of all RRH (Remote Radio Heads) and Antennas (No implementation will be necessary at this time). They will be mounting the systems, performing alignment, and testing utilizing OTDR, Power Meters, and Spectrum Analyzers.
They will also be in charge of helping with close out packages and communicating with Project Managers to finalize efforts. There will be a customer interaction portion to these deployments as well so need to be professional. Ultimately, they are running their own team and need to be able to track Materials, perform site surveys, etc.
