Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) – Seasonal Temp Full Time

Henrico, VA (Richmond area)

This is a full‑time temporary position starting now and running through the end of August. EPA certified Maintenance Technician needed for summer work. The position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to join permanently if performance is strong.

• Pay: $24.50/hour and up depending on experience. Temporary pay is $1.50/hour higher than permanent.
• Stay Bonus: $100 after completion of 30, 60, and 90 days.

• Full‑time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hrs / wk)
• Optional: participation in rotating on‑call schedule with additional bonus.

• Complete turnover/make‑ready process for vacant apartments.
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Maintain property grounds daily.
• Help keep overall appearance of community, amenities, and pool areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to keep property running smoothly.

• At least 2 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in work.
• Ability to work independently and be a reliable team player.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced environment and task prioritization.

• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work‑order systems).
• Ability to drive a golf cart.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Background check required.
