- Perform plumbing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Perform skilled maintenance and installation on plumbing and steam systems.
- Track materials needed for drain systems and ensure proper flow.
- Complete corrective and preventive work orders on plumbing and steam systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair duties required of Zone Mechanics, involving carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing to keep assigned zone in working order.
- Assess potential problems, hazards, and opportunities to maintain Zone assets to prevent unplanned impairments.
- Maintain and perform maintenance on all records/Work Orders, PM & CM.
- Maintain service maintenance records, work orders, requisitions, and other miscellaneous records as needed or requested by administration.
As a Trades Technician III you are on a rotating On Call/Call Back schedule. As a mission critical employee, you are expected to respond to any and all emergency calls as stated in CSH PPS Policy Letter #2.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience in the full range of repair and construction in the area of plumbing/pipe fitting/steamfitting.
- Experience with installation of standard and correctional plumbing fixtures, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform small repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and painting.
- Valid Virginia driving license.
- Master Plumber
