* SUMMARY:

** We are seeking a highly skilled Locksmith Technician for our Resort Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and managing locks, key systems, and security hardware throughout the resort to help ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and facilities. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work independently will be essential in providing timely and effective service.

You will work closely with other technicians and resort staff to maintain the high standards, security, and guest experience expected throughout the resort.

* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Install, maintain, repair, and replace locks, key systems, door hardware, and related security equipment throughout the resort
* Cut, program, and manage keys, key cards, and access control systems for guest rooms, offices, and resort facilities
* Respond to guest and departmental lock or security-related service requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving locks, safes, electronic locking systems, and access devices
* Maintain accurate records of keys, lock changes, work performed, and materials used
* Collaborate with other technicians and resort staff to ensure all work is completed efficiently and effectively
* Ensure all locksmith work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, security procedures, and resort policies
* Assist with preventative maintenance and security improvement projects throughout the resort
* Use strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to complete all work to the highest quality and security standards## Qualifications

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*** High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in locksmithing
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and resort policies.

* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Certification in locksmithing
* Experience working in a resort or hospitality environment
* Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
** LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT(S):
*** Valid driver’s license required.

* Sitting, standing with movement, and walking for extended periods.
* Bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and crawling, including accessing crawl spaces.

* Performing repetitive hand and foot motions.
* Using hearing and vision abilities in accordance with job requirements.
* Ability to perform moderate to strenuous physical labor.
* Working outdoors in extreme seasonal weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
* Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with use of assistive devices or assistance from coworkers when necessary.
