Passenger Car Technician (Mercedes-Benz)
DOE, Overtime paid at time and a half.
Experienced and qualified car and/or van technician to join their brilliant team at their new Mercedes‑Benz aftersales dealership in Heathrow. As a technician, your role will be to keep customers’ vehicles on the road via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service to the highest quality.
Day to Day Responsibilities- Perform major and minor repairs to Mercedes‑Benz cars
- Perform regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services
- Maintain inventory in the workshop and ensure cleanliness from oil spills and dust
- Work with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for vehicles
- Maintain records of vehicles that have been repaired, using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge
- Complete relevant documentation and paperwork as required and provide warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
- Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting
- Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales
- Qualification:
Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in PC/LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus experience carrying out diagnostic and service repairs. Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA Standards and a current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes. - Resilience – strong coping skills and ability to draw on these when life presents challenges

- Attention to detail – precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards
